During a visit to the Chueca district, we let ourselves be carried away by the pretty flower-filled streets and beautiful facades, some retro, some trendy. We discovered a number of beautiful little children’s boutiques in Chueca, as well as a gourmet bookshop. Here are our 3 children’s stores in Chueca district .
1- Energia Positiva, an enchanting boutique
The first thing we received was a warm welcome. We entered the shop wondering what it was all about. The façade was both original and intriguing.
As we entered, we realised that it was a place to spoil our children! But that’s not all. It’s also a unique concept store offering little things for everyday well-being. You’ll also find original lamps, books…
The central table is full of activity books for children of all ages. Naturally, I came away with a colouring book on underwater animals (my eldest’s great passion, aged 5).
We wandered around the shop admiring its relaxing, museum-like decor.
The shop also has an online shop where you can order from a distance: Energía Positiva. It’s not just a children’s shop – everyone can find their own little ‘positiva’ touch!

2- ZIGZAG kids shop
This shop with its colourful facade is full of cuteness. Watch out, you’ll fall in love! The concept is similar to that of Le Petit Souk in France. The ZIGZAG boutique is a place where you’re bound to find a birth or birthday present. If you’re looking for free-motion toys or wooden toys, this is the place to be too.
You’ll find well-known brands such as Janod, Corolle…

3- Children’s stores in Chueca : Circo Kids
Circo Kids is a shop for 0-12 year olds that focuses on traditional toys. Wooden toys, fancy dress, decorations and some clothes. The shop is charming and makes you want to buy everything. They also have an online shop.

Here are our 3 children’s boutiques in the Chueca district to discover. 3 atmospheres, 3 favourites! Ideal for your children or if you’re looking for a gift to send to France, for example. You’re sure to find what you’re looking for in one of them.
